Dr Rusty sent the world the following e-mail which we have cut and paste below.
We would like to add that DrR also lost his entire email list upon return from visits abroad and that the fast relocation described below therefore represents a monumental effort of organisation and so you should all be thankful, attend and have a great time.

NEWSFLASH - Parklife to pond-life, to pub-life!

Unfortunately due to the flooding at the festival site, and public safety advice from the Environment Agency, Parklife Music and Arts Festival 2007 has had to be cancelled at Ousebank Gardens, Newport Pagnell this Saturday.

This has been moved to the Frog and Nightgown Pub and the Cannon pub, both High St, Newport Pagnell, where they will have marquees over the concrete areas. Many of the 22 bands, children’s performers and the Arts Gallery will be shared over the two venues and remain free over the festival hours.

The Pre-party will remain on the Friday night at the Frog with DJ SKI, Urban Tribemen and Urban Dub Sound System. Also the Official After-Party will remain at the Cannon.

As you can imagine the festival is now suffering a huge deficit of income due to a drop in its thousands of expected crowds, so if you can help by buying a t-shirt or putting money in the buckets then please do on the day (No one takes any profits from the festival, it is purely community driven). Please forward this to anyone you feel would be attending. Over 200 people make this happen and they are being contacted one at a time so please bear with us.
